Apache Ambush

Shortly after the Civil War, President Lincoln (James Griffith) requests that a former Confederate soldier (Richard Jaeckel) and a Union officer (Bill Williams) drive a herd of cattle from Texas to Kansas. During the trip they must overcome their previous biases and work together against Apache warriors and Mexican bandits wanting to steal the repeating rifles on one of the wagons.
