First Men In The Moon

Following a successful landing on the moon, investigators from the U.N. Moon Project find evidence of an earlier landing. They track down Arnold Bedford (Edward Judd), an aging man who insists he made the journey sixty-five years earlier. The film was adapted from H.G. Wells' novel of the same name, with special effects by Ray Harryhausen.
