CULVER CITY, CA – Wednesday, March 23, 2016 – Sony Movie Channel presents a fully-loaded April programming lineup featuring network premieres of classic comedies, slithery shockers, war epics, sci-fi favorites, and many more. This month’s roster includes John Candy and Bill Murray in the military farce STRIPESAndy Griffith in the rare 1979 sci-fi adventure HARD WATER; action hero Dolph Lundgren in the Air Force actioner STORM CATCHER; and horror icon Robert Englund in the killer snake thriller PYTHON, among others.

STRIPES (1981)—Network Premiere—Fri., Apr. 1 at 10 p.m. ET

Slackers John (Bill Murray) and Russell (Harold Ramis) shape up and ship out when their motley platoon is chosen for a Czechoslovakian showdown in this military romp directed by Ivan Reitman, and starring John CandyJohn Larroquette, and Bill Paxton.
